[edit] Story
[edit] Background
Judgment was originally Raymond, a mad scientist working on the remote island of Isene and exploiting its inhabitants, trying to create a living weapon that would surpass even the gears. He believed his work was the work of God.
[edit] Guilty Gear Judgment
Raymond is devoured by Inus, a dark king of the underworld, who is subsequently killed. This allows Raymond to take control of Inus's power, transforming himself into Judgment.
[edit] Trivia
- In much the same way as Daisuke Ishiwatari voices Sol Badguy, the director of Guilty Gear Judgment, Takayuki Ideriha, voices Judgment.
- Judgements clothing bears a resemblance to that of the Holy Orders members, which is ironic in the sense that he battles the organization, but still believes himself to be working for God.
- He has similarities with Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske, he is strong about his religious beliefs, similar to Ky, but is a scientist working on a very destructive and powerful project, a parallel of Sol's past as he worked on the Jinki and the Gear projects as well, whether the similarity is intentional is unknown.
