Once an Olympic wrestler in the high school, Jun was disqualified for her continued unsportsmanlike conduct. She later turned to Full-Contact Waitressing at the Ska Lark restaurant. Jun is the strongest woman in the world (at least in her own mind) and gets a special thrill out of being cruel to her opponents. But that changes since the appearance of Yuka Takeuchi, who changes her bad ways. After graduating high school, she immediately left for the U.S.A. by herself. She entered national university "F" and majors in studies such as astrophysics and fluid mechanics.

- Earthshaker - Jun punches the ground, and a wave of energy spouts out to hit the opponent.
- Kubota Buster - Jun grabs her opponent, then leaps skyward, bringing her opponent down in an Argentine Back Breaker.
- Kubota Lariat - Jun rushes forward, extends her arm, and strikes her opponent across the neck and shoulders with a clothesline.
- Kubota Special - One of the Jun's supers. After performing two successive German Suplexes, Jun lifts her opponent up for a Kubota Buster. Jun makes a victorious pose afterward.
- Kubota Shuttle - Her ultimate super. Jun charges all of her strength into her fist, and rushes forward with a Kubota Lariat so powerful, her opponent goes airborne.

Like Yuka Takeuchi and the rest of the characters, Jun in the anime doesn't have any changes in her story or her look. She is a powerful woman who is wrestler. In the first battle, fights against Yuka, being self-confident about her strength, but is hardly defeated by her, so she makes nudity for the tournament, as symbol of her loss. Jun after that, sees in Yuka a good opponent and friend, so befriended with her and accompany and help her during all the 3 chapters of the OVA.

- Jun is one of the first female wrestlers in fighting games, along with Angela Belti from Power Instinct series.
- Jun resembles a little bit to Zangief from Street Fighter series, even borrowing one of his winposes.
- Jun appreciates and admires Yuka Takeuchi since the first time they fight. Jun believes Yuka is her ultimate rival.
- "Elirin" Goldsmith is her partner in the series. Despite of that, Jun doesn't like Elirin because her American origin, calling her as a gaijin.
- Jun likes motorcycles, as seen in V.G. OVA and in various intros, like Advanced V.G. 2.
