Karyn Bye is an ice hockey player. She was the assistant captain of the 1998 Winter Olympics gold-medal winning United States Women's Hockey Team. She has been a member of the US National Team since 1992. She has also been featured on a Wheaties box.
She was inducted into the University of New Hampshire Hall of Fame in 1998

Karen Played for the River Falls Wildcats Boys High School Hockey team under the name of K.L. Bye as she did while growing up. The 1987-88 season she was the second leading scorer on the team with 7 goals and 11 assists.
