Katorz is the fourteenth album by the Canadian Thrash Metal/Progressive Metal band Voivod, and was released on July 25, 2006. The name of the album is phonetic for "quatorze", the French word for fourteen.
During the recording of this album, guitarist Denis D'Amour (aka Piggy) died on August 25, 2005 due to colon cancer. The album features tracks recorded by him and also is their second release with bassist Jason Newsted (formerly of Metallica).
The song "The X-Stream" is featured as a playable track in the Playstation 2 game Guitar Hero II
