[edit] On the Notability of Ken Booth
I'm not at all related to this article, but I think it's difficult to question Booth's notability in the field of critical IR theory, and IR theory more generally. Booth is a pioneer of critical security studies, which argue that the state is often a part of the problem in security issues, not the solution as is oft assumed. Therefore, the focus for the researcher should be on the individual, not the state. Lol, if I had more time, I'd flesh out this article myself, but I hope someone does...
