Kjell B. Sandved

Kjell B. Sandved was a nature photographer for the Smithsonian Institution. He is most well known for his twenty-six year project to discover all twenty-six letters of the Latin alphabet and European numerals one through nine on the wings of butterflies. He has also taken other spectacular photos. He has authored and co-authored several books including The Butterfly Alphabet and The world of music: A treasury for listener and viewer.
