[edit] Firm history
Originally established solely as an architecture firm, the company has grown over the years to include engineering, interior design, landscape architecture, and several branch offices in other cities. In 1969, the firm brought engineers into its office, and by 1986 had become a full-service A/E firm, then called The Kling-Lindquist Partnership, Inc. 1996 saw the opening of the firm's first satellite office in Washington, D.C., with later offices added in Raleigh, North Carolina and San Francisco. Kling became affiliated with the Boston based architecture firm Stubbins Associates in 2003.
One of the most recognizable buildings designed by Kling is the Bell Atlantic Tower completed in 1991, which is among the tallest buildings in Philadelphia. The firm has won numerous awards at the regional level in recent years.
