Komsomolskaya Pravda (Russian: Комсомо́льская пра́вда; meaning Komsomol's Truth) is a Russian nationwide daily newspaper. It was founded in 1925 by the long-lived, but now extinct, Komsomol organization, and is currently owned by Gazprom. It once had a circulation figure of around 20,354,000[citation needed], making it second only to the Trud newspaper. It is currently the top-selling newspaper in Russia, with daily circulation ranging from 700,000 to 3.1 million [1]. It is not the same as Pravda.
