KRPR is a Classic Rock radio station in Rochester, Minnesota.
[edit] History
KRPR began its broadcast in 1976, under ownership of Rochester Community and Technical College.
In the late 1990's the station was sold to Rochester Public Radio, the current operator.
The station is fully automatic and un-manned and plays a large selection of classic rock, with jingles every 15 minutes or so reminding the listener that they are listening to "Classic Rock Without the Talk." The station does not air normal 30-second spots, but rather short "underwriting" messages produced by local radio personalities.
