Kuyto

Kuyto (Russian: Куйто, Finnish: Kuittijärvet) are a three lakes in the Republic of Karelia, northwestern part of Russia. Kuyto Lakes are connected by natural canals. Lakes are used for timber floating.
- Upper Kuyto (Russian: Верхнее Куйто, Finnish: Ylä-Kuittijärvi) is located at and has an area of 198 km².
- Middle Kuyto (Russian: Среднее Куйто, Finnish: Keski-Kuittijärvi) is located at and has an area of 257 km².
- Lower Kuyto (Russian: Нижнее Куйто, Finnish: Ala-Kuittijärvi) is located at and has an area of 141 km². Kem River flows from Lower Kuyto, there was a dam built there in 1956.
There are numerous islands on Kuyto Lakes.
