L Norvaline

L-Norvaline is an analog of the branched chain amino acid Valine. It has been proposed that L-Norvaline inhibits the arginase enzyme thus increasing arginine concentrations. Arginine is known to convert into nitric oxide. Human studies with norvaline supplements are not available and hence no claims can be made regarding the benefit or side effect of norvaline supplementation.
