From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lacrosse-Washtucna is a sports co-op between the high schools of La Crosse, Washington and Washtucna, Washington. In 1982, Lacrosse High School and Washtucna High School combined their athletic programs due to falling enrollment in both schools. Lacrosse-Washtucna's mascot is the Tigercat.
Lacrosse-Washtucna is most famous for setting a Washington state football record of 49 consecutive wins, including post-season and non-league games. The Tigercats, coached by Jeff Nelson, have also won four straight eight-man football state championships, from 2002-2005.
