The article says that "laisser-faire should not be confused with laissez-faire".
According to Random House dictionary, both "laisser faire" and "laissez faire" are
- The theory that government should intervene as littel as possible in the direction of economic affairs
- the practice or doctrine of non-interference in the affairs of others
