Laura Belli is an opera singer from Buenos Aires, Argentina
The young Soprano of Italian, Spanish and Syrian-Lebanese origin, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina . She began playing the piano at the conservatoire I.S.E.D.E.T and with Diego Vila whilst still at school trained as a ballerina at “Olga Ferri´s School of Dance”. Before her singing training she studied at the C.A.E.C.E University in Buenos Aires, where she graduated as molecular biology - technician. Meanwhile she studied English at I.C.A.NA Institut , and French with Norma Varela in Buenos Aires. She began with German lessons at Goethe-Institut and at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich (she won a scholarship for it during the year 2003 from the “katolische Brücke”). Her teachers of singing being Nani Landau, Julio Saraví and Maria Rosa Farré . She took also music theory and chamber music lessons with Fernando Pérez and repertoire in Buenos Aires .
Since June 2001 she makes vocal training with Saverio Suárez Ribaudo in Munich. Also in Munich she attended masters with the Tenor Francisco Araiza at the Bavarian theatre academy August Everding (2002) and with Kurt Widmer at the VI.International Voice Symposium in Salzburg (Austria).
Since 1999 she sings as solist. She performed in Argentina where she sang for a CD recording ("Chiquitos" - Latin American baroque music - 1995) and was also engaged to record the soprano voice in the music from the film "La Fuga" (2001 - music by Federico Jusid ).
She has been living in Munich, Germany, where she develops her carrier since June 2001 . She sang in Akademischen Gesangsverein München, Ballhaus Rosenheim, Prinzregententheatre under David Stahl (Excerpts from Verdi´s „La Traviata“),Virgilsaal in Salzburg, Herkulessaal der Münchner Residenz (2005) with solists and orchestra under Christian Brembeck (Excerpts from Mozart´s „The Marriage of Figaro“ and „The Magic Flute“).In October 2005 she sang the sopran soloist from the "Coronation Mass"“ (W.A.Mozart) with members of the Munich´s Opera Orchestra under the direction of Robert Scheingraber. In 2006 she hat, among other engagements, the Mozart´s Requiem, Pamina and Papagena ("The Magic Flute"), "A voice from heaven" (Verdi´s Don Carlos) and concerts in Germany, Austria,Spain and Italy.
