Leah Barnes

Leah Barnes is a fictional character in long-running Channel 4 British television soap opera Hollyoaks. She is the daughter of under-age parents Amy Barnes (fifteen) and an unknown external character named Billy.
The storyline (as of March 2007) revolves around Leah arriving unexpectedly to the Barnes family. Amy and her best friend Michaela McQueen were the only ones who knew of the pregnancy.
Amy's mother Kathy plans to bring up Leah as her own child for the sake of preserving the family's reputation, althought Amy's maternal feelings towards her child seem to be emerging.
