Leland House

Leland House (Also known by the name "Ramada Inn Downtown Detroit") is a high-rise tower in downtown Detroit, Michigan, standing at 400 Bagley Street, at the corner of Bagley Street and Cass Avenue.
The tower was constructed in 1926 and completed in 1927. It stands at 21 storeys in height, with 20 above-ground floors, and one basement floor. The building has 9 elevators, and 120 units/rooms.
Leland House is used as a hotel, apartment building, and restaurant, along with some space for commercial use. The building contains 150 hotel rooms, 120 apartment units, as well as Leland City Club (a well known nightclub) and Labirynth (another night club in the basement). Reviews available online of the hotel describe the horrifying decay present in most rooms.
It was designed in the Beaux-Arts architectural style by the Chicago firm of Rapp & Rapp, using mainly limestone.
