Lenn Redman

Lenn Redman (1912 - 1984 in Chicago, Illinois) was a cartoonist and civil rights activist. Coming from a family of artists, he was the youngest of three children of Jewish immigrants, Sarah and Victor Redman. His talents led him to become an artist cartoonist, illustrator, animator, entertainer, author, poet, civil rights advocate. His career spanned more than 50 years.

- "What am I"? series of books that was first published in 1980. The National Conference of Christians and Jews printed and distributed a million copies in commemoration of National Brotherhood Week. The series is a masterpiece in Diversity Awareness/Education.
