Letter to Posterity

Petrarch's Letter to Posterity was written originally in Latin and was completed in 1371 or 1372.[1]
Many of Petrarch's life facts are in this autobiography.
- He was born in Arezzo in 1304.
- He received his elementary schooling in grammar, logic, and rhetoric in Avignon and Carpentras.
- He wrote of Scipio Africanus in his epic poem Africa
- He was crowned poet laureate in Rome.
