Levi Weaver is an American singer and songwriter. He was born and raised in Texas but he is currently based in England, and recently released his first EP, "Civil War Between My Heart and Mind."[1] In Fall of 2006, he toured with Kid Beyond and Imogen Heap. Both he and Kid Beyond opened for Imogen Heap, and were also included in her set as part of her band.
His song "Del Cielo" was written as a way of coping with a family tragedy. At 17 years of age, Levi and his 13 year old brother got into a car accident. Levi survived with minimal injuries while, sadly, his brother died.
"Del Cielo" is written as though his little brother is talking to him from heaven, letting him know he is "home" now and that he is watching him and loving him and waiting to see him again.
