"Light Surrounding You" is the second single released by Evermore from their 2006 album, Real Life. It was written by Dann Hume, the drummer and youngest brother of the three.
The song debuted at number eight in Australia's ARIA Singles Chart. Fourteen weeks later the song reached number one, making it Evermore's most successful single. It was also the first single by a New Zealand artist to reach #1 in the Australian charts since "How Bizarre" by OMC.
The film clip also features young Australian actress, Emily Browning. The song was used as a tribute to the character Sally in the 2006 season finale of Home And Away, while was earlier used for the Channel Ten series premiere of American show Jericho
