Limpsfield

Limpsfield is a village in the east of the county of Surrey, England near Oxted at the foot of the North Downs. It lies between the A25 to the south and the M25 to the north, near the Clackett Lane service station. It is near three important national rights of way: Vanguard Way, Pilgrim's Way and Greensand Way.
Limpsfield is mentioned in the Domesday Book as belonging to the Abbot of Battle. The parish church of St. Peter was constructed in the late 12th century. There are over twenty medieval buildings within the parish.
The village is served by Oxted railway station.
The composer Frederick Delius is buried in the churchyard of the Norman parish church of St. Peter's.
The Big Brother host, Davina McCall, spent most of her childhood living in Limpsfield.
