Liphook railway station
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Liphook railway station is a railway station serving the large village of Liphook, Hampshire, England. It is served by the semi-fast service on the Portsmouth Direct Line running between (London Waterloo) and (Portsmouth Harbour). One train per hour in each direction calls at Liphook station at off-peak times. Due to a short platform at this station, passengers must be in the front five coaches of a train to alight here.
Liphook is also one terminus for the circular "Rail-link" bus service which runs between the station and the town of Bordon (which was formerly on a branch from Bentley, closed in 1966) via Lindford and Whitehill.
