The following is an episode list for the ABC drama Grey's Anatomy. The series began on March 27, 2005 airing in Boston Legal's timeslot to gain viewers from the mega hit Desperate Housewives, much like Jake in Progress did earlier. The series is currently in its third season and began to garner high ratings and critical praise during its second season.

The series ended its second season on May 15, 2006, and began its third season on September 21. As of the third season, a total of 55 episodes of Grey's Anatomy have been aired, plus three recap specials: Straight to the Heart (January 8, 2006, covering the first season and first half of the second season), Under Pressure (April 23, 2006, covering the second half of the second season), and "Complications of the Heart" (September 21, 2006, covering the first two seasons).
