Don't you think your edit of "O'Ree, Willie," was a bit harsh? He wasn't included because he was a hockey player but because he was a particular type/classification/whatever of hockey player, as stated in the list. User:Moriori 07.17 Oct 31 2003
- Almost everybody in the list has something that makes them distinctive - the nationality/occupation is just a hint to help readers pick the right person out of similar names without having to thumb through multiple articles. I didn't research each one of these, just mechanically pruned for consistency; if you want to add an additional word or two (be succinct, and no links please), that's fine. for lack of info. It also appears on something like List of Sardinians, with no further info. If an article gets created for them, something beyond "Sardinian" that makes them notable should be fished out of it & the link & info should be added back to the list. Or someone can do some research, if they have the interest. --Jerzy(t) 23:54, 2004 Sep 19 (UTC)
