Returning, to the stage Liza Minnelli returns to concerts and albums, and performs a concert on Broadway entitled: Liza's Back. This performance took place on June 2, 2002 making a smash hit having one of the most of the famous diva's return to albums. Produced by her most recent husband David Gest and was released on CD in 2002 by J-Records .
One song was added to the concert, the theme song "Liza's Back" written by two of Liza's best friends John Kander and Fred Ebb. Thoroughly known through the years as Kander and Ebb. Most of the songs had to do with a relationship of songs Kander and Ebb had written over the years. Consisting of songs like "Cabaret" and "Theme from New York, New York" . Also included were some other favorite songs of Liza--for example, Some People, from Liza's favorite Broadway show: Gypsy: A Musical Fable .
Ever since this concert has taken place, Liza Minnelli career has expanded into great opportunities. For example some work she did after the concert was the movie: The OH in Ohio . Another example would be when she recently guest starred on the show Law And Order. This concert just opened a whole new gate of movies, concerts, and other great jobs for Liza to keep on doing.
The album is still in print today as of 2007 with a rating of three stars.
