[edit] Music Video
The powerful music video for this song was shot in a few different locations along a railroad track. The various shots of Turner include him walking though a tunnel, standing on the tracks singing, and from above while he is playing guitar. The video also features various characters all of whom are struggling with particular vices are all shown on the train tracks as well. People struggling with drugs, alcohol and others are all shown on the tracks as the train runs through them. When the train runs through each of them, it either shows that they've metaphorically boarded the train and given into the vices or they've withstood it and are now free from the clutch of their vice.
Generally, Turner is credited with being the writer of the song,"Long Black Train", although information about the song's origins is not readily available through internet sources.
