Lorbeer Middle School is a school located in the city of Diamond Bar, California and belongs to the Pomona Unified School District. It is a California Distinguished and National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence since 1999. Lorbeer's #1 rule is "Respect".

Lorbeer divides it students into different core teams. They are three for each grade level. The current cores teams are:
7th Grade
- Kare
- Trailblazers
- Navigators
8th Grade
- Excel (or X-core)
- Quest
- Media
[edit] Renaissance Rally
Twice every year, Lorbeer holds a Renaissance Rally for students with a GPA of 3.0 and above. Before the Rally, Students get a T-Shirt with the theme of the rally (such as the Incredible Achievers. Which is meant to mimic Disney/Pixar's The Incredibles)

At Lorbeer Middle School, the schedule changes every day. Periods 1-6 are rotated every day to implement variety into the week. On Monday, the schedule is normal, 1-6, but on Tuesday the schedule changes to 2,3,4,5,6,and then 1. Wednesdays and Thursdays are considered block periods, which means that you only have three classes a day, but they are twice as long. On Wednesday, you go through odd number periods, (3,5,and then 1). On Thursday, they are even numbered classes (4,6, and then 2). On block periods, advisory is after the second period of the day, you either go to lunch or advisory after the second class, this all depends on the location of your advisory, (portables is second lunch, so you go to advisory first). On Fridays, the schedule changes to 5,6,1,2,3,and then 4, this is because the numbered day of the week is the period you go to, Monday is the first day of the week, so you go to period one. Friday is the fifth day of the week, so you must go to 5th period first.

Lunch at Lorbeer Middle school consists of two separate lunches, First and Second Lunch. This all depends on the class you have, on Monday, you either go to lunch before or after fourth period. You are able to go to first lunch if you have classes in the Building. However, if you have P.E. or a class in the portables for fourth period, you go after fourth period to second lunch. Every year, they switch building and portables' lunch agenda, such as next year , 1st lunch will be for portables and vice versa.
