[edit] History
Loreto Normanhurst was founded by Mother Gonzaga Barry in 1897. In its early years, it was called Loreto Hornsby. Originally, all students were boarders, as the school was established as a service to country parents of New South Wales, who sought a Catholic education for their daughters.
