• Delete: They're an indie working within a fairly obscure corner of the market. (And let's not forget Speedwood which is a "genre" with only one band in it.) There is no evidence on the web (which is all we have) to indicate that they're leaders or influential (the way Half Japanese was, or Flipper), and no evidence of sales. • This band is bogus as are the albums in their discography. All Music has several bands listed by this name namely The Lost and Found who were a bluegrass band Lost and Found 1 whose song "Love of the Mountains" is apparently a bluegrass standard and "Lost and Found" Lost and Found 2 a 1960s Texas psychedelic band who were labelmates of the 13th Floor Elevators. There is no record of this Lost and Found on All Music Guide as there would be if they were a legitimate American Christian rock band with several albums to their credit. The madeup genre adds further to my suspicions as does the claim that they undertook their first tour of the US by bicycle. It is highly probable that this band is bogus. Depending on your comments, I could write an article about either or both of the real bands or simply vote to Delete. Capitalistroadster 11:41, 10 Dec 2004 (UTC)

• This sounds exactly as the article describes. This would appear to be a legitimate website. They conned Amazon? And did so by writing reviews over a period of months under many different names? Wow! That's got to make this one of the greatest hoaxes ever on Wikipedia! Did Capitalistroadster ring any of these venues and ask them whether they really are hosting "Lost and Found" on these dates? These people have been fooled too.   • Dr Zen shows evidence that these guys are genuine. For the record, I checked All Music Guide which is a definitive and reliable guide to music especially in the US. I don't have time to do hoards of research on each article - nor does anyone else voting on these forums. It is up to the authors to establish notability which he or she failed to do on this occasion. And yes, coming up with unique genres and coming up with a suspicious story about bicycling across the US detracted from the credibility of this article.     • Disagree with you here bro, I currently DJ (get PAID... not just for fun) several styles of music you cant find a single artist for on AMG. IT is NOT, I cannot stress that enough, and SHOULD NOT BE the end all/be all check for whether a band is noteable or not. The lack of Google hits is something of much more value in this aspect.
