LaChance is also the behind-the-scenes protagonist of "Sa'Adam in Gomorrah," a semi-fictional novel by Father J. Xavier LaChance. The character for the role-playing game is remarkably similar to the one in the novel, though the action takes place in an African country once dominated by French colonials who are now "only so much meat."
