M-47 is a state trunkline in Michigan. It runs from near Midland to near Saginaw. The routing has changed many times over its history, leaving very little of its original routing intact.
- Historical note: M-47 originally continued west, cosigning with M-46, then turned south and junctioned with I-96. This portion is now part of M-52. Going east, M-47 originally followed State St. (later M-81 and now M-58), turning north onto Bay Rd. (now M-84), and cosigning with US 23 in Bay City, and stopping at Bay City Recreation Park (road separating from US 23 to the park is now M-247).
