Rocketdyne/Boeing Santa Susana Field Laboratory Contamination and Rocketdyne Santa Susana Field Laboratory Contamination (Undeletion): Thank you Eloquence and Angela for your kind help. I am still rewriting the page and have read the facts as presented in the other links to Rocketdyne, Saturn V, Jupiter-C IRBM, Peacekeeper missiles and rocket testing, etcetera, and am very aware that those pages often editorialize, for example, ..."there were no accidents with the Saturn project...", "...toxic mercury...", in addition to other such remarks within those Wikipedia pages as well as multiple external links to Boeing and other agencies and corporations. Moreover, there is absolutely no mention of the fact that the Rocketdyne/Boeing Santa Susana Field Laboratory is involved in a major cleanup project with the U.S. Government and State of California Department of Energy (DOE)/Department of Defense (DOD)/Department of Toxic Substance Control (DTSC)/Agency for Toxic Substance Disease Registry (ATSDR) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC), among other government agencies, which costs millions of dollars. The University of California, Los Angeles, published its Rocketdyne Worker Cancer Study in 1997 and now is involved in the Rocketdyne Contamination/Community Resident Health Study due to the nuclear meltdown(s) at the Rocketdyne/SSFL site beginning in 1959, in addition to contamination and toxins caused by decades of rocket engine testing accidents, spills, and releases at the open field lab beginning in 1948 until the SSFL activities were shut down by the Department of Justice (DOJ) in 1995, as two nuclear engineers were killed, (Otto Heiney and Larry Pugh), and an engineering technician was injured while they were illegally burning spent fuel at the open field lab during July, 1994. Contaminants include but are not limited to cesium-137, strontium-90, perchlorate, hydrazine and trichloroethylene. Perchlorate is also a byproduct of spent nuclear fuel and its contamination has been discovered in many monitoring wells in Simi and discovered in the valley's soil and groundwater as well. Rockwell was fined six million dollars which was a historical amount at that time, testing ceased at the site, and North American Rockwell sold it to Boeing during December, 1996. Rocketdyne officials pleaded guilty to criminal handling, storage, and disposal of nuclear, radioactive, hazardous, and toxic wastes. These facts are Atomics International, North American Aviation, North American Rockwell, Boeing, Rocketdyne, Cold War, Space Program, Southern California, energy worker, labor, criminal, and medical history; the omission of which reflects the deliberate publishing of just a small part of aerospace/jet/rocket industry, etcetera. I presented my author copyright and permission to publish strictly due to the fact that I didn't want to be deleted for copyright violations. Hi Madeline, you don't need to keep posting your message in so many places. If you want to leave a message just for Eloquence, it is best to leave it on his talk page. Your article hasn't been deleted, so you don't have to write anything at votes for undeletion. I moved your comment on the Votes for deletion page to the correct place on that page. Madeline, a small tip, if you're going to add the articles under DTSC and you have a link to both, for example, FBI and Federal Bureau of Investigation, create the article under one of these and make the other a redirect (if you don't know how, put #REDIRECT [[article-name]]). Then only link to one of these under DTSC. Don't forget to describe what these agencies are too, not merely explain the acronym.
This helps reduce redundancy. Thanks, and keep up the good work! :) Dysprosia Hi Dysprosia Thanks, I have a list of what acronyms I am placing right now because it is easier for me to describe the acronym and then describe the agency later. The only reason I haven't used the redirect for the acronyms is because researchers from different states/different areas sometimes look up information about an agency strictly by acronym or don't recognize the acronym and try to find the agency by its name. Government reports and agency officials speaking/testifying at hearings, etcetera, on the other hand, speak and write only in acronyms. I'm going back and forth and filling in the information after I magnify it for my eyes and then reduce it back at editing for yours and anyone else with normal vision. Information about the agencies will be a great service to anyone who files for benefits or has to go through a permit process with a government agency because it really helps to know what and whom one is working with and exactly what the agency can get done. You see, however, the redirect will open the article on the agency - if you have two seperate links a user will have to navigate through two links, where a single paragraph will explain the acronym at the page dealing with the agency.

Hi Madeline. Your article has been listed for deletion as you know. One of the main concerns is surrounding the copyright. Someone has said on VfD that it is only permitted to be used non-comercially, but Wikipedia may be used commercially. If the original material is yours, please can you say whether you are actually releasing it under the terms of the GFDL rather than saying it is copyrighted. Thanks. You can reply on my talk page.
