Make up your own mind is an advertising campaign started by McDonald's in Australia and the UK. The ads aim to provide consumers with information intended to dispel negative rumors about McDonald's food and put the company in a more positive light.
It is purported that the campaign was started in response to movies such as Super Size Me and Fast Food Nation which had depicted fast food companies in a negative light. McDonald's has since denied the claim, but are still in the firing line.[citation needed]
The campaign websites provide information and lists of answers to frequently asked questions about McDonald's food and service quality.
