Yes, Azumchefi and Azümchefe are the same proposal, though not the same word.
Azumchefi comes from the proposed alphabetic order: A Z U M Ch E F I K T NH TX O Y Q G LH Ñ R S LL P Ü W L N SH TC.
I think Azümchefe means " person who knows how to do something " (c.f. Azümn 'to know how to do sth', -chefe 'person who...').

I really can't see the point of this article. All it is a phonemic inventory of Mapudungun. The main article on the language has exactly the same info. Delete?67.170.176.203 06:47, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
- I'm the author of this article. It's not just about phonology, it's about the various attempts at orthography; because Mapudungun doesn't have a native orthography, many people have created their own means to record the language. I'll leave the final decision to someone with more experience in information organization and an user account. LGMᚂ 20:27, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
