Maroussia Klimova (Russian: Маруся Климова, real name Tat'ana Kondratovitch) - the well-known russian writer and translator. Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (2006).
Maroussia Klimova is one of those who has managed to play both with prose and with reality, and create a blend of the two. Such high-profile members of the postmodern avant-garde as Vladimir Sorokin, Viktor Erofeyev and Ilya Kabakov have named Klimova as the most topical, talked-about element of contemporary Russian literature. She is the author of some remarkable translations from the French (Louis-Ferdinand Céline, Jean Genet, Pierre Guyotat, Georges Bataille, Monique Wittig, Michel Foucault, Pierre Louÿs etc.) and her own books. She lives in St.-Petersburg.
