Matthew Arnold School (Staines)

The Matthew Arnold School is a British co-educational secondary school in Staines, a suburb of London, taking pupils from the age of 11 ("Year 7") to 16 ("Year 11").
It is now perhaps best known as the alma mater of the fictional character Ali G, who calls it "Da Matthew Arnold Skool" [1]. Although he actually never attended.
Matthew Arnold is right in the heart of Staines, with easy transport links via buses and trains. Matthew Anrold take in many pupils from a variety of school, including Bucklands School, Laleham Church of England School, Kingscroft School, Town Farm Priary School, Our lady of Rosary, Stanwell Fields, Clarendon, Ashford Park, and many more!
At Matthew Arnold, the grades are above average, and the learning environment is well suited for children of all abilities, equipped with a hard-working Learning Support Department, a Business and Enterprsie Suite, new Maths, Business Studies and ICT Rooms, a libary and a Business Resource Centre, and an up-to-date £0.5 million fitness centre, which both teachers and students can use.
