McCauley

McCauley is an inner city neighborhood, named for the first mayor of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, located just to the north east of the downtown core. It is a roughly triangle shaped neighborhood bounded on the north by 112 Avenue, the west by 101 Street, and the south east by the LRT line and old Canadian National Railway right of way. Adjoining neighborhoods are Boyle Street to the south east, Cromdale to the north east, Pakdale and Alberta Avenue to the north, Spruce Avenue to the north west, and Central McDougall to the west.
Edmonton's Commonwealth Statium is located near the north east corner of McCauley, with bus and LRT service provided at the adjoining Stadium LRT Station and Stadium transit terminal.[1]
There are two schools in the neighborhood, McCauley Public School and Sacred Heart Catholic School.
The neighborhood has a large selection of religious assemblies representing a variety of faith groups: Ansgar Lutheran Church, Chin Yin Buddhist Society, Conerstone New Testament Church Of God, Cornerstone New Testament Church Of God, Croatian Catholic Church, Edmonton Chao Chow Benevolent Association, Edmonton Chinese Pentecostal Church, Edmonton Inner City Victory Church, Family Worship Centre, Hope Mission, Innercity Mission, Ming Ya Senior Citizen Association, Mustard Seed Street Church, New Life Chinese, Religious Education Centre, Sacred Heart Church & Rectory, St. Josaphats Cathedral, St. Peters Lutheran Church, St. Stephens Anglican Church, and the Ukrainian Pentecostal Temple.
Rounding out the neighborhood's sites of interest are the Giovanni Caboto Park and the Joe Clark Athletic Grounds.
