MCNLive is a Mandriva-based LiveCD and LiveUSB Linux distribution. It is a full featured Linux Desktop Live System, running from CD or USB flash drive. It aims to be a userfriendly, fast and simple portable Operating system grounded on the KISS philosophy: dynamic hardware detection, graphical wizards to put it on a USB key, the copy2ram feature to speed things up, multi-language setup - all this on less than 350 MB.
MCNLive features the KDE desktop environment and includes Internet applications, video, music and imaging software, games, networking tools and the KOffice suite.
[edit] Development
MCNLive is in active development. Stable editions since 2004. The latest is MCNLive VirtualCity (2007). A team of Dutch and Belgian volunteers are creating and testing MCNLive.
