My book Review for the book “Me Talk Pretty One Day” by David Sedaris
This book is an autobiographic book about David Sedaris and how he grows up. In part one of the book it begins with him in the 5th grade going to his speech therapy classes. From there on in the book it shows him improving and by the end of part one he is an adult. In various parts of part one he keeps looking back at his childhood telling us different stories of his life and what kind of obstacles he had to cross along the way. In part two of the book it shows us a big turning point in his life. This is when David Sedaris moves to France with his spouse Hugh. This is a difficult task for him because his French grammar is awful! He spends a large amount of his time trying very hard to understand the French language.
I think that you should read this book because I really enjoyed it. This book kept me busy and it was a hard book to put down at night when I was in bed. Please read it I think you will learn many difficult life lessons in your time doing so.
