Meat Shits

The Meat Shits (also known under one word, Meatshits) are a grindcore/pornogrind band from Turlock, California formed in 1987 under the name Chemical Dependency. They are said to be pioneers of the pornogrind subgenre and often consider their music "brown metal." The band is fronted by Robert Deathrage. The music is regarded as highly offensive, homophobic, misogynist and have a cult fan base. Meat Shits claim to have been one of three bands in the world at the time to incorporate sound samples into their music, a claim that most would regard as highly debatable. The band has had numerous releases and went through countless record companies. Many releases are nearly impossible to find, having been widely ignored by the general public upon their initial release.
