To preface, I'll say that I grew up from birth through high school in Ithaca, Michigan (40 miles north of Lansing along US 127), and did my undergraduate degree at Michigan State.
I'm not so sure about some of these boundaries. The two that seem strange to me are the inclusion of Flint and the Tri-Cities area in "The Thumb" and the inclusion of Lansing in "southern" Michigan. The boundary between central and western Michigan also seems rather far west. Emerymat 00:23, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
