His transfer to Manchester United has not yet been agreed or anything yet. He is still regarded by the law to be a Spurs player as his professional contract still lays with this club.

I've removed this quote. It wasn't cited and wasn't very true. The general concencus is that Michael Carrick isn't very good at tackling and lacks pace. [1] Niall123 12:55, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
