Hi, my name is Micah Alpern. I'm a user interface designer with a strong interest in social software. I have significant experience in the blogging world, but am still coming to understand the world of wiki's and wikipedia.

Currently I am the lead designer for Yahoo Answers in the Yahoo User Experience and Design group. Prior to Yahoo I lead the redesign of eBay's Selling process. I like designing software that fun, easy, and rewarding to use.
I'm still VERY new to Wikipeida and could use some pointers. Please feel free to edit this page with any help you can give.
One question I have is the policy and disclosure mechanisms if you're editing an article that inovles you personally? For example, I'd like to contribute to the article on Yahoo Answers, do I need to disclose anything in particular on the Talk page?
