Mikhail Prokhorov

Mikhail Prokhorov (1965-). Interros, a venture with Vladimir Potanin includes metals, engineering, agriculture and media; since 2001 Prokhorov has been chairman of its most valuable holding, metals conglomerate Norilsk Nickel; has a slightly larger stake than his longtime partner.
He's a Moscow State Financial Institute graduate who worked in one of the big Soviet foreign trade banks.
Forbes has listed Prokhorov as #89 in its annual Worlds Richest People list.
Prokhorov was held by French police in January 2007, on suspicion of prostitution in Courchevel. Russia's rich and famous traditionally vacation and have decadent parties in the ski resort town during the winter month.[1] Prokhorov was released later that day.
