The original video
Milk and Cereal is an internet meme originated by a group known as VT's Finest. The original video features two Virginia Tech students named Matt and Dan lip syncing to the song "Milk and Cereal" by the band G. Love & Special Sauce. Both students use spoons in place of microphones and utilize a box of Apple Cinnamon Cheerios and a gallon jug of milk as props.
The original animation spawned several recreations, including one by two students from the University of California one featuring the puppet Yoda from Star Wars, and another by a single high school student named Riley Harmon, who "cloned" himself in post-production to simulate the duet.
The "Milk and Cereal" song was never released by the band themselves.
