Misi Taulapapa (born January 25, 1982 in Auckland, New Zealand) is a New Zealand rugby league player. He has previously played for the New Zealand Warriors club in the National Rugby League competition before he was released mid-season for turning up to a training session intoxicated. He is now contracted for 2007 with the Cronulla Sharks. His position of choice is on the wing. Previously Misi played rugby union for the Waitemata Football club, located in West Auckland. He played with Waitemata when they last won the Gallagher Shield in 2003. Misi Taulapapa had been playing Rugby Union for most of his life, representing Kelston Boys High School's 1st XV in both regional and national tournaments. Misi continued after high school to play Rugby Union until 2004 when, under the insistence of his cousin Falelua Lole, he switched to Rugby League. Misi was selected to play in the Bartercard Cup competition for Marist Richmond Brothers from where he was picked up by the Warriors. After being released by the Warriors halfway through the 2006 season he moved to Queensland to finish the season at the Central Comets.
