Montecatini is the name of several locations in Tuscany, Italy.
Montecatini Terme is the most well known, located in the province of Pistoia it is one of the most famous health resorts in Italy. It has thermal springs and is an attractive town with large parks and gardens. It is located at .
Montecatini Alto ("Upper Montecatini") is a beautiful hill-top village above Montecatini Terme with spectacular views of the lower town and the surrounding Tuscan landscape. It is part of the 'Commune of Montecatini Terme' and is located at . The two are connected by a funicular railway which was constructed in 1897 and is still in regular daily operation.
Montecatini Val di Cecina, is located about 100 km to the south in the province of Pisa at . The village is on the crest of a hill with a spectacular panorama across valley to Volterra. It was a very important mining town in the Middle Ages under the Medici dynasty, and the mines have now been restored and turned into a museum.
