Morse Park

Morse Park (Chinese: 摩士公園), occupies 15.8 hectares[1] , is an urban park located in Wong Tai Sin in Kowloon. It was competed in 1967.[2] The Park was named after Sir Arthur Morse (摩士) (25th April 1892 - 13th May 1967), the head of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation during and after World War II.

The Hong Kong Golden Jubilee Jamborette (香港金禧大露營), was held between 1961-12-27 and 1962-01-02, celebrating the Golden jubilee (50 year anniversary) of Hong Kong Scouting with theme One World (天下一家). At Kowloon Tsai, now named Morse Park, the Jamboree hosted 2732 Scouts in the challenging winter with heavy rain.[3]

The top structure of the pier was later transferred to the open-air oval theatre in Morse Park. In 2006, the structure was once again transferred next to Murray House in Stanley
