Considering 99% of users will have enough colour depth to see the RGB values, it seems a bit pointless down-grading the accuracy of the colours for the few that have low-colour displays. ed g2s • talk 12:07, 29 August 2005 (UTC)

Good idea of yours to move the picture on London Underground upward to better explain why the Tube is called the Tube. Now if only we could get Londoners to stop calling other systems "the (Paris, Berlin, Tokyo, etc.) tube" as well... Regards, ProhibitOnions 19:26, 7 January 2006 (UTC)

Did you mean to edit the Victoria Line article to read south-west to north-east? If I've read the differences correctly it looks like you've added in the west, but then in your edit summary said it should just be south (with which I agree.) Nice userboxes, btw :). Willkm 12:23, 8 January 2006 (UTC)

Yes I think it's true, the trains do vary between the different C stock routes during the day. However, none of the routes actually results in the train being turned around so the trains are still all facing the same way on their return to Hammersmith as when they left in the morning. So while they would have had normal wheel wear on the Wimbledon-Edgware Road service and on the H&C, the wear would still be made uneven while running on the Circle. I think this is the issue; it's mentioned in the London Underground handbook, and also here. That site says it's Whitechapel where they reverse (I had presumed it was Aldgate East) so I'll change the article.

Yeah, I see what you mean, and in any case any variant of "non commercial" is not compatible with the GFDL or Wikipedia. I only posted it on Wikipedia:Copyright_problems/Fair_use_claims#Fair_use_claims_needing_a_second_opinion to see if it's use illustrating Tube map could be justified as "fair use" (personally I'd have thought a low res version could have been). In any case, I see it's now been deleted by User:ed g2s. Thanks for your input (and by the way, I see no reason why you shouldn't feel free to comment on that page!). └ UkPaolo/talk┐ 07:17, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

This is the first article I've contributed to significantly and its made me realise how much hard work others who have created 10, 50 or 100 articles, and contribute to many more, put in. Hi Mike, Thanks for clarifying that the piece was an editorial and not a letter to the editor. I believe the biggest difference between opinion/blogs/editorials and real news article is that the latter is fact checked. TRP is indeed notable, verifiable might be a different issue.
