[edit] Help with images
Thanks! I'm still learning, since I'm VERY new to this. One thing I want to do is add an image to an article I recently created. I have permission from the owner/creator, but I gather that isn't good enough. I still have the email from him granting permission to use it on Wikipedia. Could it fall under the GNU Free Documentation license? I think my situation is similar to the one found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Antwerp.jpg . Does the owner need to send an email to Wikipedia? I think I can figure out how to upload the image and get it in the article, once I know what procedures to go through first. Thanks for any help. - I'd upload it, mark it as {{GFDL}} and add the text of the e-mail. Please leave a note on my talk page if there's any further problem.--Runcorn 19:50, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
